Recently, the Green Pine Clinic organized a workshop entitled: “Child developmental milestones (0-5 years) and early signs of psychological abnormalities” at Hoa Mai kindergarten for parents, grandparents and caregivers on April 13th, 2016.
Ms. Tran Thi Thu Ha, an early childhood development specialist, together with Dr. Nguyen Thi Huong Xuan, Head of the Department for Women and Children with Psychotic Disorders (Central Mental Hospital), gave talks on child development milestones (0-5 years), as well as psychological abnormalities.
The workshop proved a great success. Parents were equipped with knowledge about the important milestones of a child’s development, were instructed on how to recognize early signs of developmental abnormalities, and subsequently how to support children with development abnormalities in community integration. Attendees were also given opportunities to share their own stories, and consult with Dr. Nguyen Thi Huong Xuan.
